Republicans will leave office armed and dangerous. As long as people believe that our so-called leaders are well-intentioned, they can, and do, get away with murder. Literally. Whenever a people entrust the defence of their country to a regular, standing army, composed of mercenaries, the power of that country will remain under the direction of the most wealthy citizens.": A Framer - Anonymous 'framer' of the US Constitution - Source: Independent Gazetteer, January 29, 1791

Heroism at command, senseless brutality, deplorable love-of-country stance, how violently I hate all this, how despicable an ignorable war is; I would rather be torn to shreds than be a part of so base an action! It is my conviction that killing under the cloak of war is nothing but an act of murder." - Albert Einstein

He who joyfully marches to music in rank and file has already earned my contempt. He has been given a large brain by mistake, for him the spinal cord would fully suffice. This disgrace to civilization should be done away with at once.

War is a racket and child-chewing monsters are at the helm. No level of rationalization for that crime against humanity or fancy rhetoric can mask that awful truth. As long as people believe that our so-called leaders are well-intentioned, they can, and do, get away with murder. Literally.

I think you all should see the film "Shadow Company" and then talk about PMCs. Because now you all sound like uneducated fools talking about that which you do not know. Learn some appreciation for those fighting for your right to sit here and talk about how much you hate them. You all best thank the lord that the draft is gone, I don't think that you all could cut it. The US is and will always remain a military nation, otherwise we will not be a global super power.

The essence of Christianity is told us in the Garden of Eden history. The fruit that was forbidden was on the tree of knowledge. The subtext is; All the suffering you have is because you wanted to find out what was going on. You could be in the Garden of Eden if you had just keep your fucking mouth shut and hadn't asked any questions. - Frank Zappa

As for your so called valid sources... "Kid's heads are filled with so many nonfacts that when they get out of school they're totally unprepared to do anything. They can't read, they can't write, they can't think. Talk about child abuse. The school system as a whole qualifies. Go to the library and educate yourself if you've got any guts... " - Frank Zappa

Meanwhile... "Of course, it is better and healthier for the mind to "choose" the path of skeptism and inquiry in any case, because only by continual exercise of these faculties can we hope to achieve anything. Whereas religions are whereas religions are merely "fossilized philosophies", or philosophy with the questions left out; to "choose" dogma and faith over doubt and experiment is to throw out the ripening vintage and to reach greedily for the Kool-Aid. " Christopher Hitchens

But never the less... People have been abused by their spiritual leaders (apart from their founders) for eons because they invariably side with the ruling class & power over the rabble.. "A tyrant must put on the appearance of uncommon devotion to religion. Subjects are less apprehensive of illegal treatment from a ruler whom they consider god-fearing and pious. On the other hand, they do less easily move against him, believing that he has the gods on his side" - Aristotle

Fundamentalism & obscurantism is the problem, not whatever faith humans decide to believe in to deal with their metaphysical shortcomings FOR WE DON'T ASK A FISH TO EXPLAIN THE MOLECULAR STRUCTURE OF WATER ;) LOVE, PEACE & UNDERSTANDING is the answer here not rapture fueled nonsense ! Our founding father might have overstepped his range ... « Man will never be free until the last king is strangled with the entrails of the last priest. »- Thomas Jefferson Ah, the pursuit of happiness ;)
